Peabody, MA – March 7, 2025 – Sumaria Systems, a professional services provider for the Department of Defense and national security customers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Nixon as its new Chief Growth Officer (CGO).
In this role, Nixon will lead Sumaria’s growth strategy, overseeing business development, customer acquisition, partnerships, new market opportunities, and proposal development. She will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to drive the company’s expansion and strengthen its market position. With more than 20 years of experience in government contracting, Nixon has held various roles across the business development lifecycle. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Business Development at DCS Corporation, where she led growth strategy, market expansion, and capture management efforts for the engineering-focused defense contracting company.

Nixon holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Foreign Policy from Boston University and a master’s degree in Public Policy from New England College.
